Shades of Us is a heartfelt children’s book that explores colorism, identity, self-love, and the beauty of every shade within the Black community. Through the eyes of three light-skinned Black siblings — AJ, Lala, and Nae — readers are taken on an emotional journey filled with honest conversations, powerful affirmations, and lessons about confidence, belonging, and unity.
